--- My friend corey and I have been working together for several weeks on a project that we have come to call End The Madness. The goal of this project is to gather as many people as we are able to and find some way to offer food and words of solace to those unfortunate people that have found themselves living on the streets. We have gone about this in several different ways, trying to reach out to as many people as possible as well as trying to find the best way to spread out our resources. Our last outing was probably our favorite thus far. We were able to pack close to thirty large lunch bags full of food and drinks. We added a personalized note inside each bag to remind those who received them that they are not forgotten. I believe that each and every one of us is capable of making a difference and if we were to band together as a people, the possibilities are endless. Together, we CAN end the madness. We can be the generation to create a heaven on earth. In John
17:21, Jesus prays a prayer “that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” Let's come together! This world we currently live in is in complete madness. Every year, about 3.5 million people are homeless, many of these people being families with children. Just in New York City alone, there are over 60,000 people that are homeless. The fact that these number of people are living in the streets is insane. We need to rise as a people in order to make a difference. Together, we can demand from our government help to get these people, most importantly these children out of the streets and into their own homes. Corey and I will continue to do our very best to make a small difference, but only with everyone’s help will we be able to make a CHANGE. It's time to
